Sáile Musicians

Celebrating Our Local Talent at Sáile 2026

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome an incredible line-up of creators to the Sáile Ocean Festival, showcasing how ocean-inspired music, performance, and visual arts can bring our coastal community together. Among the many talented acts performing, we are particularly excited to host Galway’s own alt-indie musician Roo Elizabeth alongside the high-energy Afro-Brazilian drumming collective SambaWave, who will both be bringing their unique creative energy to our weekend events.

Roo Elizabeth Blending ethereal vocals, layered guitars, and cinematic soundscapes, Roo Elizabeth is an emerging Galway-based alternative artist whose music balances raw vulnerability with anthemic energy. Known for drawing deep inspiration from Irish identity, storytelling, and natural landscapes, her evocative songwriting captures the shifting moods of the Atlantic coast. Her live performances create an intimate yet powerful atmosphere, bridging raw emotion with memorable melodies that connect deeply with coastal audiences.

Roo Elizabeth will be performing at the Galway Rowing Club Hall on Saturday the 12th of September, from 14:30 onwards!
